At Spirit Lake Behavioral Health, we are a team of psychiatric providers, social workers, peer support, and support staff that work together to provide high quality care to those seeking services for their mental health.

What We Do
We provide care to people of all ages. We do mental health assessments and psychiatric evaluations, and provide psychotherapy and medication treatment for:
- Depressive Disorders
- Anxiety Disorders
- Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
- Bipolar Disorders
- Bereavement
- Adjustment Disorders
- Schizophrenia and Psychotic Disorders
- Substance Use Disorders
- Other mental health problems/conditions
Emergency Services
- We accept walk-in appointments for those who are in crisis
- Safety assessments and safety planning for anyone who is suicidal or homicidal
Outreach Services to area schools
- SPARCS: Structured Psychotherapy for Adolescents Responding to Chronic Stress
- Group therapy program for teens at Four Winds School
 
- Individual telehealth counseling and/or medication management (currently Fort Totten, Oberon, Warwick) 
- Students can connect with their provider online through a secured webcam link
- This allows for continuing care with less disruption in their school day/less missed days from school

- Crisis Response
- Consultation on high-risk students
- Education for staff as needed
- Referrals for services not provided at Behavioral Health
Substance Use Treatment Services
- Alcohol and drug use evaluations, including urine drug screenings
- Individual counseling/ASAM Level 1 Adult outpatient substance use treatment
- Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT/MOUD) – using FDA approved medications in combination with counseling
- Opioid use disorder: Vivitrol, Suboxone, Sublocade (monthly injection)
- Alcohol use disorder: Naltrexone (oral – Revia, injection – Vivitrol)
 
- Assessment and treatment for concurrent mental health disorders
- Referral to treatment centers
- Outreach Psychiatric/MAT services provided via telehealth at Spirit Lake Recovery & Wellness
